screen replacing mobile +aspect ratio
Hi All
Question about using conerpin data from mocha to after effects, for screen replacement of a different screen aspect ratio, than that of the tracked footage e.g to replace a mobile phone screen.
I’m aware that the footage or the pre-comp corner pin data is to be pasted onto from mocha should have the same ‘screen res’ and frame rate as the tracked footage. So it’s simple to replace a tv or desktop computer but not the same for mobile screen, on which the new footage would not match and appear queezed on the width. or if you have a pre-comp with the res set to a mobile phone it will appear stretched.
So what is the workaround to this problem please. Thanks in advance!!!!

Your workflow should be like this:
Have a proper mobile screen resolution composition inside the project resolution composition that has the corner pin data applyed.
Then you can either stretch the mobile screen comp to fit the project comp (shortcut ctrl + alt +f).
Or you can turn on collapse transformation on the comp with the corner pin and it should allign proper. -
