    Hi,
I’m trying to comp a video clip onto a tv screen within a scene.
I am using the 3D warp tool in Avid 8.5.3, employing corner tracking etc, but I’m having no success with the comp.
I think the problem might be that the camera zooms into the tv screen (please see pics).
I’ve tried using scale tracking within 3D Warp too, but again no luck – the video clip doesn’t move with tv screen and the camera zoom.
Can anyone suggest anything? I really need to be able to comp this video clip onto the zoomed in tv screen – is this achievable in avid? I don’t understand why the scale tracking doesn’t have any effect?
    Any advice would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Rosie

    Hi,

Boris FX / Imagineer Systems just released Mocha Pro as a plug-in for Media Composer …

    https://borisfx.com/pages/mocha-pro

This is by far the best way to perform screen replacement in any supported host, including Avid Media Composer. You can download a free trial on the Boris FX web site and there are free tutorials right on the site to explain how to use the plug-in to perform the screen replacement.

    I hope this helps!

    Cheers,

    Peter.
