Screen Recording not importing
Greetings all!
So I am working on a pilot and I needed to do a screen record through quicktime of Google Earth as a place holder. All looks good but when I go to import it, FCP does not recognize it.
It looks fine in QT (both new and old). The only thing I can think of is that it is an odd dimension, but I didn’t think that is an issue in FCP – I have imported all sorts of strange formats and sizes…
Any thoughts?
I am on FCP 6x BTW

Actually did not.. and it just came up again recently.. I wonder if Apple laces screen recordings with something so people can steal stuff? Seems a bit silly and would make the screen recording useless..

Thanks a million. Working on it now. I share your feelings about iMovie. It looks like it will take iMovie around an hour to export a 3 minute movie. And I’m using an 8 core machine with 22 Gb of memory.
