Screen Fracture in Boris RED
Hi, does anybody know how to create a screen fracture effect in Boris RED?
Basically, I need to figure out how to to make the image under a spline shape set as a mask for a track magnify/zoom in, while the rest of the image outside of a mask stays the same.
Does anybody have any tips? I would appreciate any and all help….

Hi Daniel,
If I correctly understand the effect that you have in mind, you should duplicate the track and invert the mask on the duplicated track only, then apply any transforms that you want to make only one of the tracks.
If I have misunderstood your request, please send me an image and description or better yet, an example of what you are trying to do and I’ll let you know how it can be done in RED 5.

Sorry about that…figured it out. I just messed up while translating some After Effects instructions into Boris language.
