On Windows a lot of people swear by Camtasia or Camtesia, I can never rememeber how they spell it. Beware, these things make HUGE files.

“Oh, you wanted to RECORD that?”

I use Camtasia all the time. It works great.

I usually capture in a higher resolution than the final output so I have the option of “pan, scan and zoom” within AE later.

I haven’t noticed the files to be overly large, but I think the quality is pretty good. It sure beats shooting the screen!

I have used SnagIt in the past. The quality is awful. I will look into this Camtasia that you speak of. ha. Thanks guys.
