Scratch removal/neg dirt cleaning
Does anyone know of a plug-in for Final Cut that can work like the Scratch Removal effect on an Avid. I’ve got a project with a fair amount of neg dirt to clean and it would sure speed up the progress.

Could use the clone tool in AE, but a plug in for FCP “would” be easier, I’m sure. Otherwise, you’re going to have to resample the clone brush every few frames. Yikes! Sorry, but that’s all I could think of without having a proper plug in.

Wasn’t easy to find this, but it’s worth a free try for scratch removal. In theory, it should work for any stationary inclusion.

i’m working on it. it’s finished but i keep running into a nasty bug which i’m not sure if it’s in fcp, fxscript or my head, but most likely not the latter. hold on. 🙂
(the one i have for vertical scratches mentioned in this thread might help you too)
