    hi everybody and thankx again for being there…
    me: power book 500 mhz g3
    final cut pro 3

    so,
    i am capturing a bunch of clips, (A+V) and there are 3clips that don’t let me capture:
    i get this message: “an error occurred finding one or more of the specified capture scaratch volume(s). verify that both audio and video scratch disks are set in the preferences.”

    and of course they are set in the preferences… how would have i captured the rest of the clips otherwise??

    Try trashing your FCP 3 preference files and then open up your project to see if that fixes things. If it doesn’t then there’s a deeper problem, such as a directory issue on your media drives. But try trashing those pref. files first.
