    Hi there,
The scoring markers that I am making in FCP are not showing up in Soundtrack. I am hoping someone can tell me if I am missing a step somewhere:
I create the marker and choose the “add scoring marker” option. I then name it, save all and “send to” Soundtrack Pro. The tracks and video are perfect but no scoring markers. Any suggestions?

Never done it exactly that way. I usually export a QT reference file, and in this step there is an option to “Export Markers” for DVDSP or Soundtrack. This embeds them in the file. You can even see them by opening the file up in QT. It then imports into Soundtrack or DVDSP with markers. I have had no probs doing it that way…

    Hi Enzo,

Thanks, I don’t know why it didn’t occur to me to do it this way. I assumed that STP should see the markers if you were sending directly from FCP. It seems to defeat the convenience of sending your project (vid and audio) directly to STP if this isn’t the case.

But, problem solved so thanks again!

True, but the advantage with doing a reference file is that now you have a sequence that you can work with outside of FCP if you need to send it to STP, or Compressor, or DVDSP…

It suits my workflow, that’s why I do it that way.

    Glad I could help.
