Scope check box 7.5IRE
When using the video scopes to help with contrast and brightness and color correction there is a setting whereby you can select a 7.5 setup. My question is should this be checked with HD media?

No. This has nothing to do with SD or HD and has absolutely no affect on the video. This is just a configuration setting that affects the display of the scopes to make it consistent with an external scope connected to a device that adds 7.5 IRE setup. If you don’t have an external hardware scope, there is no reason to ever check this box.
