February 5, 2009 at 5:59 amI’m Mac based – but I’ve got to say that OmniGraffle ROCKS for any kind of diagramming.
Actually, about 90% of my non-text on-screen graphics for my videos are now totally or partly generated by this graphics package.
Great for simple “around the studio” stuff too – like the aforementioned wiring diagrams.

February 5, 2009 at 8:33 pmIf I remember your prior posts correctly, Nicholas, you’re Mac-based, so I’ll second the vote for OmniGraffle.
On the PC side, there’s Visio, but I haven’t used it myself since before Microsoft acquired them ages ago.
