Scene File Reset
How do you reset the camera to default in terms of scene files? I uploaded one I did as a test in New York, but then I wanted to shoot in Montana, and I didn’t have my laptop to upload new data, so I was stuck with NY metadata. How can I reset the camera so that it has NO scene file data?

I don’t have my camera or manual with me today but I do have Barry’s book. It says that you use the INITIAL function to restore the factory settings. I can only guess that this is in the SCENE FILE menu somewhere.

The camera is a loaner from Panasonic. I am a consultant for them. I hope to get the revised book when I get the HPX-170.

Nice gig! I would think that Panny could spare a book for you. I can’t wait to hear about the 170, that looks like a really neat option, especially with an HD-SDI spigot.
