    Scene Detection

    Hello Everyone,

    I have a query. I already have a 20GB DV AVI file that i have captured and i wish to run scene detection on this file and split it to smaller clips. Is this possible in Sony Vegas 6/7 or are there any 3rd party tools available to do this?

    Check out Scenalyzer. A trial version is available and it’s only $39 if you decide to buy it.

    Remember you can turn on scene detection to split it as it is capturing. This does require the clock to be set in the camera.
