    Hi,

I have a .c4d scene which contains a camera matching solution and was created in c4d 10 under osx 10.4,

when I try to open it on my machine at work which is (don’t ask) an 8 core mac pro loaded with vista ultimate and running c4d 10.5 I get an unknown File format error. I get the same error when i try to open a .lws file which has the same data in.

I can, however, open the scene on another machine at work which is a mac pro running osx 10.4 and the c4d 10 demo (so of course I can’t re-export/save the file).

Is anyone else having these sorts of issues?

    Thanks in advance

This is the first I’ve heard of someone being unable to open an r10 file in 10.5. You might want to send the file to Maxon tech support.

    Thanks,

sent the scene to maxon and they said they couldn’t open it either so it must be corrupt.

A bit strange as it opened on the mac ok.

I’ll have to create it again I guess.

    Thanks
