    Scan Line Creeping Down The Footage

    I just installed MC 4.0.2, created a new project and imported some P2 footage shot in DCVPro HD 720p/30.
    Everything seemed to go well except that I have what looks like a scan line that moves down the screen. My guess it is something to do with progressive scan. I’ve been searching for a cause and answer. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

    Here is some more info on the problem: The line creeping down looks more like a wrinkle or a blurry line, not a hard line.

    When I open the same footage in Adobe Premiere CS4 the video plays with an slight studder or kind of jumpy. Other footage (shot with different camera – 720p/60) played studdery as well in CS4.

    I’ve transferred my footage to another drive and it still plays the same. Where should I begin to check? Maybe a hardware issue?

    I have an Nvidea 8800GT graphics card.
    6gigs ram
