    Scaling results in Horiz. Lines, but only during motion

    Does anyone know why this is happening?

    I am taking a 640×480 uncompressed quicktime movie (exported from a Media 100i)and scaling it down 60% in AE. This results in horizontal lines only appearing in anything that moves within the frame. This can be seen in the AE preview window and after export.

    Problem does not occur when movie is at 100%

    What am I doing wrong?

    It sounds as if you didn’t separate fields when you imported the clip.

    File>interpret footage>main. Probably upper field first.
