  • scaling image after corner pinning…

    Hi all,

I’ve 4 point tracked an image to a tv screen, what’s the best way to scale up the image so that it fills the screen? (The 4 track marks were placed well inside the tv screen to make them as visible as possible)
I’ve tried a number of ways but scaling always has the wrong anchor point and the image loses its position…

    Thanks in advance,

    Dom

I think if you precomp the corner pinned element and then put the anchor point in the center of the new layer (the precom p) you might be able to scale and keep it alined. Four point tracking and then adjusting the size of the new element to be pasted on works nicely in Shake but in AE the points go to the edges of the new element layer so you really need to put the tracking points where you want the target to go.

Idea? How about a null the same size as the new element. Use the null as your target and then parent the new element to the null.
