Scale frame size during capture??
We shot footage on a DVCAM. Part will be used for tv and part for the web. Is it possible to capture the web stuff at a smalller frame size or must I reduce it using Compressor?

FCP should allow you to scale during capture. Look at how Offline JPEG works.

A respected compressionist, Randy Tinfow, has said that the scaling in FCP ain’t so good. He recommends
AE for scaling. You might want to compare.
