I’ve produced some graphics in Shake for an FCP edit. Most of them are 1024×576 (pal) animation codec with embedded alpha. They’re meant to cut into a standard DV PAL Anamorphic timeline.

When I view them on my system, FCP 5.0.2 in a DV PAL Anamorphic timeline through a Decklink to a broadcast monitor, they look absolutely fine.

However, my client, running 5.1.x, says that when he cuts them in, they don’t rescale properly. Apparently they come up very large, when really they should just come up with a new aspect ratio of 42.22

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

Thanks but I don’t think it’s to do with the pixel aspect ratio. The scale seems to be jumping to something ridiculous like 1024×800.

Anyway, looks like I’m making tiff seq’s for everything – how fun!
