I need to record 3 separate sources and then import them to FCP5. I have looked at the DSR D1000 which seems to support file transfer over an i link connection using SBP2 and AV/C Potocol. Has anyone captured to these decks and then imported into FCP or transferred them directly to a hard drive? What is the difference between these 2 protocols and how does FCP handle the different formats.
    Any help would be fantastic

    Thanks Damian Dexter

I have used the D1000 with FCP. The way I got my files into FCP was by using a software program for PC only called FireStore DV File Converter. You can find more information at http://www.focusinfo.com.

Capturing to the deck is straight forward.
