Say Goodbye to Hard Drives

That is exactly what I’m talking about! Anyone here could put one of those together tomorrow if they wanted. That setup cost $7k. Plenty of people here spend that much and more on media storage. The Caldigit HDPro is in the same price range. Granted you’d only have a measly 144 gigs. But it wasn’t that long ago a 144gb array was considered large. Doesn’t take a genius to see SSD drives are in the very near future for us editors.
