Hi crew. Just realised I have been putting up with this for a long time and so now I am starting to get frustrated.

I seems that every time VP12 crashes I lose my saved screen layouts. With dual monitors this takes a couple of minutes to reconfigure each time but surely this info should not disappear every time I get a lockup!

Anyone else experienced this situation and, better yet, has a solution? I would be very grateful.

    Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have not experienced this, but I recommend you to close Vegas after you have changed the configuration (maybe, Vegas saves the changes only when it exits)

As Aleksey says, close Vegas immediately after you have saved
your window layout….And you can select it at anytime from
    the toolbar under ViewWindoww Layouts.

Thanks for your responses. I have tried this numerous times, whenever I have to restart SVP12 in fact. I recreate my workspace, save and then close VP before reopening. Never seems to have worked though.

As you can see from the attached file, the window on the right appears to show all the previous times that I have had to save my layouts. These are in the TEMP folder which SVP suggests as the default (as in the top left window).

Interestingly, when I click on the Browse button in that window it opens the SVP12 folder in a “Roam’ folder within ‘App Data’.

    Now I am totally confused!!
