saving titler presets
Hi. I’ve created a title in Pro 9.0 32 bit. in the titler. I then added effects to the title. Now I can save the title as a preset and I can save the effects used in the title as a seperate preset. Is it possible to save them both as a single preset?
And just my two cents. I have been using vegas since ver.3. I’m not a proffessional but I have fun making short video’s and spec commercials. Vegas has always been rock solid for me up until ver. 8 and 9 then it became very twitchy. I can sight The Titler as a source of some dissapointment it was one of the big selling points for one upgrade 8 I think it was. An example is the key frame area, the key frames themselves are so small you can’t even see them, the interface feels detached from the vegas timeline there is no reference , expand the key frame area it’s void like being in a vacumm. The interface of the Titler feels, looks and acts like a program sony bought from some other company or somthing, because this tool does not feel like an organic extention of the Vegas Video software. This is very dissapointing to me. Now maybe it should be like that, I don’t know I’m not that smart, it just doesn’t feel right to me. One reason I stuck with vegas after sony because I thought with sonys pro line of camera’s and equiptment that vegas could be intergrated into that to become something really professional. That does not seem to be happening yet. I really like Vegas I use it I will continue to use it, but i guess I miss the VEGAS VIDEO days when things worked – solid like a rock. best Anthony

I don’t know of a way to combine the preset to include the FX as that is really a separate function. Perhaps someone has a solution for that but to be honest I’ve never been a big fan of the Pro Titler for many reasons. It was a big sell but for me but it fell way short of my expectation and is not intuitive as is the rest of Vegas. Sorry I don’t have a better answer for you.
