Saving Title Created with Text Tool (vs Legacy Title)

May 18, 2022 at 3:24 pmI am sure this a simple solution and I am just missing it …. When I create a title using Legacy Title I can save it immediately to a bin. When I create a title using the text tool I just can’t seem to figure out how to SAVE that title (and name it) and stick it in a bin for safekeeping. It just seems to appear on my timeline. Any suggestions on how to do this? Also wondering what is the best approach for titles in PP: I see there is Legacy title, using the text tool and then Essential Graphics) – I am not doing anything fancy but want to be able to just adjust size, colour and maybe a bit of movement for the moment ….. Any thought truly appreciated!

May 18, 2022 at 3:35 pmYou could nest it. Then it will appear in your project window.

May 18, 2022 at 8:00 pmOr do as i do. when editing a spot and i want to store my text, i create a separate sequence that i call “text storage”. then i copy and paste my text from my commercial to “text storage”.
then when editing a new commercial i can “pancake” the “text storage? sequence on top of my new commercial timeline and drag and drop text from “text storage” down to my new commercial. It works great. Give it a shot.
