    Hi everyone,
Kindly assist on this one since I have tried out so many times with failure. How does one saves a project without a the black background that c4d by default places at the ? For still images I know would check the Alpha channel -on- while rendering but what about in ? I created a small movie/animation, then intended to export it to Adobe after effects so as I can add a better and lively background. Kindly help out please.
    Thank you.

Same thing: render with Alpha. But you also have to save the animation in a format that supports alphas, like MOV with millions of colors+, PNG sequence, TIF sequence, etc.

Thank you. This one worked for me, I saved the file as PNG then in after effects I chose the first PNG file which was rendered as my footage an surprising enough it had no background
