    Hello all,

I’ve been working on a project on FCP 7.0.1. I’ve open this project on an other computer with FCP 7.0 and it allowed me to do so. When I reimported a sequence form Color and tried to save my FCP project I saw that saving my project “is not allowed”. Although it didn’t want to save, it auto saved properly and when I quitted FCP the project had the correct modification date and time (of when I was trying to save it) but I still lost the last operation I’v done, but not every thing. Weird.

Does someone have an idea ?

    Thanks for your attention !

Did you try the “save as” function? Sounds like it was set as a read only file for that system, while your primary system had read & write permissions.

    Thanks for your interest,

I did try “Save as” and selected a location but it was the same problem.

But I think you are right. I’ve got the information of the FCP file and it says that my account on my computer has “read & write” but everyone has “read only”. I had to change that before.

    Thanks so much !
