I’m a student and have access to Audition, though I do not have access to a manual.

I need to save a copy of the .ses non-compressed file so I can go back in later and edit it, though when I try to save it my only options are only to save as compressed files such as, .mp3 files.

If we record in editing mode will this affect our ability to save an .ses?

IF you go to help you will find all the info you need … You choose how to save things, if it defaults to a compressed format then you might have recorded the session in something other than 44.1 …
