  • Saving Different Frame Size in Text Media Generator

    Hi

I’ve looked and looked but I can’t seem to save the 1440 x 960 frame size in the Text Media Generator (text box). Standard frame size still shows up as 720 x 480.

I tried saving a preset but everything BUT the frame size saves. I still have to manually type 1440 x 960 each time and with hundred’s of text boxes anything I can do to save typing I’d appreciate.

Isn’t there a way to save that new size. I looked in Options / preferences but didn’t see anything there. I’m missing something becauwse I remember somewhere I could set the default time length.

As DSE once told me and others using 1440 x 960 gives a sharper text and oh boy! Does it ever.

    Thanks
    Allen

Allen, I haven’t found a way to do this either 🙁
My “solution” is to create the first text event and then copy/paste all subsequent ones.
You will need to change any required text parameters but at least the size remains constant.

    Hi Mike

That’s what Ive been doing for the most part is copy/paste. Some I can’t/don’t want to re-create though as I have them pre-made and in another veg file I just copy over. That’s because there’s a pair of generated media. 1 text box and 1 graphic pan/crop, like an arrow. Another I use hundreds of is a little number inside a little black box. To have to re-size that black box is a pain

Oh well, maybe DSE knows. Problem is sometimes I forget to change the frame size. ugh!

    Thanks anyway
