    Hi there,

Since I upgraded to Snow Leopard a couple of weeks ago, FCP and compressor aren’t remembering the previously saved destinations.

Im sure there’s a term for this, but its early in the morning here and my mind’s not quite up to speed!

Im exporting audio tracks for mixing, and i usually export stereo paired tracks to a folder, but everytime i hit export, it takes me back to the root directory Macintosh HD. Not really that important, but slow and frustrating.

Upgrading the OS is the only thing that’s changed…

    Thanks!

    Andrew.

FCP 7.03, snow leopard, dual quad xeon, 8GB ram…

You have to tell it where to go.

Cntrl Click on Source and choose the folder to render to.

Thanks for the reply, but i don’t think i made myself very clear.

I usually export multiple files to the same location and FCP/compressor used to remember the previous location, but i have to navigate my way back everytime now.

So, If i have to export 10 movie or audio files, each time the destination box appears, it defaults back to the root (Macintosh HD) folder instead of the last folder i saved to.

    Cheers.
