saving custom settings for .flv export
is there a way to save my custom settings for export flash movies using the Quicktime Conversion/Macromedia Flash option?
Maybe i’m going blind but i can’t see a way to do this.

Not within FCP.
Make a droplet with Compressor….then you will be able to export a reference movie, then drag/drop to it. -
a droplet?
i must admit i avoid compressor – it always takes far too long to do anything, and seems to hold up FCP at the same time!

“Search for the term Droplet in Compressor help.
Once you set it up, which should take less than a minute, all you have to do is export a reference movie from FCP, then drag and drop to it. You can continue to work in FCP while it runs.
Ignoring Compressor is a big mistake. Its a very powerful too.

thanks John, i will look into doing that.
I know i should explore it – but usual excuse of not enough time to check it out so tend to stick to old ways for sake of laziness.
i think i might have a few free seconds sometime next week, so i will make an effort!
