saving .c4d as .AVI problem
Good day COW Community!
I wanted to save my .c4d as .AVI. I have consulted various sources online for help but I have encountered a problem. when I tried to use the “picture viewer” after setting up the necessary details in the render settings, an error message appears:
” files cannot be written- please check output paths!”
Can someone please tell me what went wrong??
how to check output paths?
any response from fellow COW members is appreciated.

That screen shot tell us nothing… does those output paths exist? for both the .avi and the multipasses?
from what I can tell you’re trying to write to 2 different user folders, and I’m betting you don’t have access to both of them.
