Trying to save an animated title from marquee to a bin in xpress pro. All I want to do is make a QT or AVI file out of it so I can take it to another application. I’ve done the steps for saving it to a bin, and every time I do, I get an error messege saying that xpress pro is unable to import or even recognize the file. By my check list, I’m doing everything from the “help” in marquee that it says to do. However, this must be user error. please HELP!

Select file > Save to Bin.

The Save to Avid Bin dialog box appears.

Type a name for the title in the text box.

I am not using the “use same save options as previous title” option.

    Click ok.

When the Marquee render operation is complete, switch to Xpress Pro.

The Save title dialog box appears in the editing application

I select my bin and drive with the res setting ( DV 25 411 OMF )

    and click save.

Avid says ” unable to import this marquee title”

I’ve followed every step from the Marquee help PDF and the Avid online tutorial CD that came with Xpress Pro.

    Please help, I don’t know what’s wrong.
