Has there been any updates that I don’e see, where I can save a simple effect like barn doors open in presets? I’m still stuck with having to recall a sample edit, click copy on the effect, go back to the show I’m working on, and paste the effect at a cut point. Very antiquated, and causes a ton more key strokes.

Any fixes would be most welcome.

    Many thanks.

You should be able to save as a preset. Click on your effect in the timeline, open Effect Controls – then I CTRL-Click anywhere in a blank area of Effect Controls window. Then save as Preset. I am on Mac, therefore the CTRL-Click.
