I have one .wav file with aprox. 10 songs with two seconds between each song. Is there any way to auto save the 10 song file in to 10 sepereate tracks? I have vegas 7 and sound forge 9.

    not really.
Vegas can’t see the spaces between the songs as anything but what they are, silence.
You could have ripped the CD as individual files using any number of tools, including Vegas, saving them all as separate files, which would then of course, allow you to create separate tracks.
At this point, Split tool, and CTRL+Q are your best option.

Thanks, Unfortunately it was a home made recording not a store bought cd.. I ended up using cd wave editor(shareware)and it worked very well. Thanks for the quick response..
