Save Subtitle Tracks?
I’m using a text file for subtitles with Encore – my transcription of my hour-long piece was not time-coded, so for every piece of text displayed on the screen, I had my transcriber put a default duration of two seconds for each subtitle. Because of this, I had to manually align each subtitle to the audio track in an NTSC project, within Encore in a timeline. It took a day of work. My question is, now that I’ve done this, I need to author the DVD in PAL. Do I need to align everything manually again in a PAL timeline, or can I somehow convert my timeline to PAL? Sure, I get paid by the hour, but I’d rather spend my time doing something more creative. Thanks in advance.
P.S. – DVDStudio Pro is where it’s at. Unfortunately, DVDStudio Pro is not at work.
