  • Save scene into Content Browser preset folder?

Maybe I am overlooking this in the documentation help, but How do you save a scene into Content Browser > into preset folder. Drag and drop only works when the objects are parented to a null and seems like a work around and not really importing an ACTUAL .c4d files.

Like I said maybe Im overlooking the most simple of things…..

    Appreciate it!

You should be able to drag anything into a preset folder that you’ve created. But the Maxon preset folders are read only and I don’t think there’s any way to change that.

    Thanks for the reply.

Yeah, I know you can drag from the object menu, but it splits the scene objects into individuals pieces. Unless you parent everything to a null.

Was just curious if you can import a .c4d file.

    right on,

    thanks!

Yes, you can also import a whole file by dragging it from the “computer” drop-down.

I swear I tried that being C4D is “intuitive” in that nature, but I’ll give it a go again!

    Thank you for your help!
