Save Preset, But Only for Current Project?
Hi – Any way to save a preset I make, like for an effect or track motion or something, but have it saved as a preset only for the project I’m in do it doesn’t appear in other projects? If not, that would be a valuable feature to be able to save presets either globally or just project wide. THANKS!!!!!

Try using an FX Chain preset.
From the help file:To Save an FX chain as a preset
Click the FX Chain button on the Track FX, Bus FX, or Assignable FX dialog to display the Plug-In Chooser window.
Use the Plug-In Chooser to add, remove, or arrange plug-ins.
Click the Save As button and enter a name for your preset and click OK.Using an FX chain preset
Click the FX Chain button on the Track FX, Bus FX, or Assignable FX dialog to display the Plug-In Chooser window.
In the Plug-In Chooser, browse to the preset package you want to recall.
Click OK to load the effects and settings from the package.Steve Mann

No, I’m afraid not. Presets are always global and can be seen in all projects.

Perhaps but it would be impossible to implement since Vegas is using global Windows technologies like DirectX, OFX, VST that are designed for sharing across not only projects, but other applications as well.
