Save corruption? Audio, Video Drift across closing and re-opening???
I’ve encountered what appears to be a rather catastrophically peculiar bug on the latest CC, but I don’t know if it’s peculiar to my system or to the files.
C100 MK1 PF30(29.97) footage as .MTS, which I believe is all actually in a 59.97i wrapper, which I’m wondering if is a source of trouble…
Basically, I have a fully edited sequence, and upon closing and re-opening, many (I’d say a dozen or two) video and audio clips in the sequence were slipped by what seems to be an arbitrary amount of frames, although always to earlier in the source clip.
It’s absolutely bizarre, as I wasn’t able to determine any rhyme or reason which clips did that, or how much they moved.
This required me going back thru and resyncing everything by eye.
I did some edits, I closed and re-opened, and this time, it did it again, but with only a few clips, notably the ones I had just added
Has anybody ever encountered anything like this before? I found that something was really off with using these 29.97 30PF files from the C100. I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to interpret it to be progressive or let it alone, but I wonder if futzing with those things could’ve caused some large scale error. But I don’t understand why I can view it just fine, but if I close and re-open, some files are unsync’d!
Additional weirdness;
Hitting F on a clip and dragging the audio or video from the source monitor produces a SHORTER CLIP? Something is truly bizarre with the way my in’s and outs are being interpreted…
