SATA RAID in MC 2.6.3
Anyone using sonnet FUSION 500P with MC software only with Mojo SDI in a Dual G5 (2Ghz), or any Sata Raid configuration ?

I don’t use Media Coposer, but FYI, I have changed from Sonnet’s external storage to CalDigit S2VR HD. Both has 5 internal hard drives. I tried to make Sonnet work with the KONA 3, but I realized that couldn’t capture 10 bit 1080i with 5 drives. The data rate I get with the S2VR is about 40 MB/s faster than Sonnet.
Since you are looking for storage for SD, I think Caldigit S2VR Duo which has 2 internal removable HDD is perfect for you. It comes with a host adapter card of your choice, depending on which Mac G5 (earlier with PCI-X, or later PCIe).
