howdy folks posted this in the sapphire forum but no answer yet – but wondered if its more of a general premiere thing?

Gday just trying this out and having issues doing transitions in Premiere CS5. Worked out how to keyframe the transition on different video tracks after initial confusion after I realised it doesn’t work as normal transitions.. but… if the transition is going to a clip with another effect on it – such as mercalli stabiliser… i notice that the transition uses the original source of the clip (eg non stabilized) for itself which produces a jump to the modified clip footage when the transition is over…

Since I posted this I had the thought to make clips nested in a sequence with the other effects already applied and then try the sapphire stuff on the clip on the timeline as a sequence but this didnt make any difference…

    Hey Paul,

How did you get the transitions to work in the first place??

ya ok so the thread is a bit old, but I have same question. My affected clip stays solid red and settings do nothing to change it. Tutorials don’t help for they work correctly on the video but not on my PP CS3.
