    Sapphire Transitions

    I’ve been using Sapphire for several months now in FCP and would love to be able to use their transitions without having to stack my clips, keyframe etc…does anyone know if this will be fixed anytime in the near future? I would love to be able to drag and drop their transitions directly into my timeline.

    Hi, Paul. We would love to be able to do this. Unfortunately it’s a limitation of how FCP treats all AE-type effects. We have been working with Apple to see if they can make this easier, but for now that’s how it is. Perhaps if Apple hears from their customers that this is an important issue, they might give it more priority? 🙂

    Thanks Gary for the reply. I love using Sapphire but don’t use the transitions because of the extra time involved in applying them. I’ll make my voice heard however in hopes this might happen in the near future.
