But things haven’t changed for bad, isn’t it Peter? I’ve tried the demo and although I know I will never get the investment back, may be next Christmas..

October 7, 2007 at 3:12 pmThere are two problems with Sapphire now
1) The price compared to other plugins
2) Not using the latest FxPlug technology. Unfortunately Gen Arts have other hosts that they are concentrating on before re-working Sappare for FxPlug and Intel.

October 7, 2007 at 4:23 pmSo Peter, what would you recommend for similar type fx.
BTW I find researching plugins (and “demoing”) major time consuming so getting suggestions from someone “whose been there” is really valuable . . . so thanks in advance for your thoughts.

October 7, 2007 at 4:59 pmI’m slightly biased as I use the Fxfactory “engine’ for my current plugin, Volumetrix.
However, check out Noise Industries FxFactory, https://www.noiseindustries.com/
I suppose you could say their plugins are the new ‘Sapphire’ for FXPlug/FCSLots more to come too

October 7, 2007 at 10:21 pmWe’re using both the FXFactory and BCC 5 FX Plugs. I like them both, but have to give an edge to the BCC pack. It costs a bit more, but you get quite a bit more also. Both are excelent.
