You have this article here in the Cow:
“Peter Wiggins looks at Sapphire Plug-ins from GenArts”. It gives some tips about how to use the Sapphire transitions in FC,

Boy does that feel a long time ago – and how things have changed too.

[Peter Wiggins] “- and how things have changed too”
But things haven’t changed for bad, isn’t it Peter? I’ve tried the demo and although I know I will never get the investment back, may be next Christmas..

There are two problems with Sapphire now

    1) The price compared to other plugins

    2) Not using the latest FxPlug technology. Unfortunately Gen Arts have other hosts that they are concentrating on before re-working Sappare for FxPlug and Intel.

So Peter, what would you recommend for similar type fx.

BTW I find researching plugins (and “demoing”) major time consuming so getting suggestions from someone “whose been there” is really valuable . . . so thanks in advance for your thoughts.

I’m slightly biased as I use the Fxfactory “engine’ for my current plugin, Volumetrix.

However, check out Noise Industries FxFactory, https://www.noiseindustries.com/
I suppose you could say their plugins are the new ‘Sapphire’ for FXPlug/FCS

    Lots more to come too

We’re using both the FXFactory and BCC 5 FX Plugs. I like them both, but have to give an edge to the BCC pack. It costs a bit more, but you get quite a bit more also. Both are excelent.

I have been using the fxfactory pro plugs for about 8 months or so i think… they are a great pack, especially for the price!
