    Any idea of the price in the USA?
    Will be a 32Gbs?

    Sony will have 32GB card later this year. I think I saw September. I believe there will be a firmware update in July or August that will allow the use of 3rd party cards. I’m hearing this from various NAB reports.

    Hi Craig,
    I expected a better price for the SanDisk cards, but the difference here is just 40 US $$.
    Better wait for the 32Gbs.

    we’ve been using an 8gig Sandisk with no problems.
    If you look at the card the ONLY difference is the self-adhesive label. Even the serial numbers follow the same format, and the colours of the metal and plastic are exactly the same.

    its 99% likely they are made in the same factory.. Unless the USA camera is different which i don’t believe it is, then I doubt very much if there’s coding in the Sony SxS card that tells the camera its a Sony and not a Sandisk card.
