    Hello…

I was hoping someone might be able to help me recreate something like the sand blowing in this video clip bellow… Ive tried alot of thing and just keep hitting a brick wall… anyone got any words of wisdom?

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vcbPT8NDFu8

Not so much the perspective or that angle… but the way it separates and rejoins and dances around…

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

The best method would be instead to get some footage of real sand of an advanced particle simulation from a stock site. The eddies and curls of particles in wind are best done with physics simulations.

Or another plugin that fakes it well is trapcode particular. It has more fine control over wind simulations.

Or try CC Particle world. Use tiny particles, Some turbulent displacement to swoosh them around, and add wiggle scripts in there to try to randomize the motion more?
