When I send the project file to another editor with the same version of FCP, the vid rate of master clips (made from the original capture by setting in and out and duplicating as a master clip) changes from 23.98 to 29.97 in the browser and in the 23.98 timeline. Please explain how that can happen. Both machines are running FCP 6. Thanks.

Where does this master footage come from? What format?

Can you explain that? I don’t understand what you mean.

And are both versions 6.0.6? They should be as high as you can go. There are bugs with earlier versions.

I set the in and out points and then right clicked on the the clip and chose “duplicate as new master clip” and use the duplicate clip in the timeline.

    Both versions are the same.
