  • same adjustments on 100+ images

I am working in PS CS3 and i have a folder of more than 100 images that i want to apply the following adjustments..

    1. adjust the levels (not auto levels) but use specific values that are the same for all images.
    2. apply the match image filter with some specific settings….again, the same settings for all images.
    3. save the adjusted images as jpeg’s at full quality.

any ideas… i am thinking something with scripts/automate, but not sure… could not figure it out.

    thanks,
    tom

As far as exporting a sequence of JPEGs, I’m not sure. You could Export/Movie as File Type: TIFF or Targa. But, you would need to run a batch on Photoshop if you wanted to make JPEGs or LZW compress the TIFFs (LZW TIFF is lossless).

To make the adjustments in Premiere, read this thread…
    Scaling Multiple Clips
Be sure to read the whole thing, as there is a minor point in getting the ‘copy’ function to work.

Basically, the thread offers two solutions…
1 – To copy effect parameters from one clip and paste them onto a selected group of clips.

    OR

2 – To nest a sequence (to place one sequence into another). Than apply the effects to the nested sequence. Which, when nested, behaves like a single clip.

Put all your images in the timeline. Select the first one and apply the adjusments you want to make. Then right click on this clip and copy. Now select all the other images, rightclick and paste attributes. All images have the same adjustments.
