salary advice
Hi Guys,
I’ve not been sure whether i should post this on this site – hope this is okay – I’m currently work as an after effects animator for a company in sydney, australia, and have just been offered a job in New York. I have a design degree and 2 yrs experience, and am speaking with the boss tonight about salary etc. Im on quite a good salary over here, but really have no idea what i should expect to be getting over there in $US as the cost of living is so much higher etc… Dont want to be completely clueless when i have this convo tonight – just wondering if anyone could give me an idea of the range $$ my salary should be in?? I understand if you cant really post that sort of thing but id really appreciate any advice. Thanks x

Don’t use it as a sole source, though… just for ballpark info.
