Safe To Delete Vegas Server Logs?
Hello, I notice in the folder called Application Data\Sony\Vegas Pro\9.0\Vegsrvlogs there are many .log files that can get rather large. One of them on my machine is 35 gigs!
Are these safe to delete?

Are you using network rendering? I don’t have anything like that on my system and I’m wondering were they may have come from. Logging is usually just for debugging, tracing, or auditing and, in general, it is safe to delete log files from any application but I would check with Sony support if you are nervous about deleting them. You could always just rename the folder, fire up Vegas to make sure it still works properly and if so, delete the folder. As I said, I don’t even have a folder like that on my system.

Hi John,
Yes, I am using network rendering and the content of the logs is a list of all render jobs. Looks like it’s a network rendering log.
