I have to shoot a protest rally using EX3 with stock lens. I will have to move quickly. No time for fine adjustments. I do not like auto focus. In the same situation with Z1 I used to set focus to 1m and zoomed all the way out. Any suggestions for EX3? Profile settings to get colorful images and good contrast? I already tried Doug Jensen’s recommended settings in a similar situation. The footage was acceptable. I always use 812 filter. I want really sharp images with detail. I usually use tripod and think about adjustments with EX3. That’s why I am a little worried about this type of situation. I will appreciate your advice!
