Safe Frame Template
It’s been a while back (over a year ago–and I can’t find it in the archives) that someone set me up with a “safe frame template” that I could use on one of the video tracks….kind of like an insurance that the video would look good on all TV screens. It was simply a black box with a transparent center.
I’ve created my own, but it just doesn’t seem to me that it’s as good as the original one I got (which was erased when a hard drive crashed earlier this year).
Does anyone have that?

Why not use the built-in frames?

As Harm said, you shouldn’t need one for Premiere, although there are some some issues with it disappearing sometimes.
I did make a 4:3 one for myself in Cinema 4D, and that should work in Premiere.

THANK YOU. I was almost sure I got this from you a year or two ago…but wasn’t confident enough to ask!I like the safe frames in Premiere, but when I add in the overlay, it makes the image uniform for all end users.
