    I have a project set as PAL DV Widescreen (720×576, 25.000 fps) and i have rendered it.

    In dvd architect it has the same settings BUT some of my images fall slightly outside what dvd architect calls the safe area which i can view ie toggle the safe area on and off.

    Does vegas 10 have a similar feature so i can see any potential items outside of this so called “safe area”

    If not where does the safe area reside coordinate wise? I have hit this problem because I have created the dynamic menu background for the dvd in vegas

    Yes. You can turn on the Save Area overlays at the top of the video preview window. Like this:

    thats brilliant thank you I would point out I did type “safe” in the help but it didnt return anything!

    its a very bad choice of colour too the dark grey background with tthat blue grid BUT my vision is not the best!
